Georg Brameshuber is an Austrian tax advisor, legal scholar and entrepreneur specialising in cryptography and blockchain technology. He is a research associate and assistant at the Institute for Financial Law at the University of Vienna, where he works with Professor Kirchmayr-Schliesselberger. Brameshuber is also a fellow at the Institute for Financial Law in Vienna. As an entrepreneur, Brameshuber is CEO and co-founder of Validvent, a tax advisory firm for blockchain companies and investors. He is also involved in Blockpit, a platform for the tax declaration of cryptocurrencies. Through Validvent, Brameshuber provides analyses on the taxation of cryptocurrencies and the impact of blockchain on business and law. Brameshuber shares his expertise through various articles on Medium and as a speaker at events around blockchain and Web3. He has an academic background in tax law and studied at the University of Vienna.
